Dr. Marvin Chan

DMD, AFAAID, FICOI

Dr. Chan’s passion for dentistry began in high school working as a dental assistant. In 2013, he received his DMD degree from Western University of Health Sciences in California. After graduation, Dr. Chan moved to Ohio and has been practicing here since. His training in oral implantology allowed him to place and restore all types of implants. With continued study in the field, Dr. Chan achieved Associate Fellow status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the only organization in the country that grants credentials based on written and oral examination. As one of 750 dentists who hold this distinguished credentials, Dr. Chan is one of the leading experts in implant care. Dr. Chan has also received Fellow status with the ICOI in recognition of his expertise and clinical acumen. ICOI is the world’s largest dental implant organization and the world’s largest provider of dental implant education. He is passionate and committed to helping all patients achieve optimum oral health, while meticulously crafting beautiful and natural-looking smiles.

While not at the office, Dr. Chan enjoys family time with his wife and toddler son, watching basketball games and being a foodie. He is also an active participant in helping the underserved community.

Dr. Zaw Hein

Dr. Zaw Hein’s journey began in Myanmar, where he earned his dental degree before continuing his studies at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in the U.S. With a heart full of kindness and a true volunteer spirit, he’s dedicated to helping underserved communities and making a positive difference through his work. Beyond dentistry, Zaw Hein is a curious foodie and passionate trekker who loves exploring new cultures and places around the world. He’s genuinely excited to join forces with Dr. Marvin Chan, sharing not just skills but a deep commitment to compassionate care and lifelong learning.

Tensele, Hygienist

Tensele is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and a graduate of Lorain County Community College. She joined our team in 2020 and enjoys educating and caring for the needs of our patients. Tensele loves that our office is a family friendly environment, that the needs of each patient are valued, and that we strive to give the best quality care. Tensele’s goal is to continue to develop her knowledge and skills as a hygienist so she can continue to provide the best care. Tensele is a proud mother of two: her daughter Kiara is a graduate of Kent State University and her son Daryl is currently a Junior at the University of Akron. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and traveling.

Chelsea, Hygienist

Chelsea is graduate of Amherst Steele High School. Shortly after, she joined the United States Air Force and was a Dental Assistant for six years while stationed in Italy. Chelsea is a mother of two! Meelah and Clayton, and they are her entire world. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time going on fun adventures with her children, enjoying time with her family, going to concerts and sporting events, playing softball, and traveling. Chelsea graduated from Lorain County Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). She joined our team in 2021 and is excited to share her knowledge and skills with all our patients. Chelsea enjoys building the patient/provider relationship and is eager to gain your trust and help you lead a healthier life. She loves that we are a family-friendly patient-driven office and is excited to be a part of our team.
